In 2003, our founder and local real estate investor was spending days in the courthouses researching records to locate information on foreclosed properties and sheriff sales. Realizing that too much valuable time was being spent digging through filings instead of being spent generating income by pursuing properties, it became obvious that there had to be a better way.
Looking for a solution, she began searching for a local, detailed and current foreclosure listing service. She was pleased to find that there are countless national services providing lists, however, after purchasing their services, she found the information received was not current. By the time contact was made with the homeowner, oftentimes the property was no longer available. There were no other reputable listing services locally that she could find. Back to the courthouses she went.
After spending more than a year independently researching properties, she began compiling a list and sharing the information with her partners and affiliates. As time progressed, she realized this was a service that was desperately needed for local, serious investors who were ready to increase their income.
In 2004, the Wisconsin Foreclosure Listing Service began and the listings were made available online for members. As the foreclosure market continued to grow and as the success of our subscribers became overwhelming, we continued to expand to better service our valued clients.
The Wisconsin Foreclosure Listing Service is still operated and managed by the original founder (who is also a licensed real estate broker) and her partner who is also an investor and property manager. Working together with their team and affiliates (including real estate and bankruptcy attorneys, title professionals, appraisers, mortgage lenders, etc.) we are proud to provide the most timely and thorough information to our members.
